The Yucatan Leones of the Mexican League ended the 2005 season with a record of 57 wins and 50 losses, finishing third in the league's South Division.

The Leones allowed 521 runs, least in the league. Yucatan plated 616 runs. Scott Bullett paced the team with 25 home runs, while Pedro Castellano and Willie Romero walloped 15 or more also. Willie Romero drove in 89 runs and topped all regular batters by hitting .366. Juan Manuel Palafox led the squad with 10 wins, and Oscar Rivera recorded a 3.94 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.
