The Anchorage Northern Knights of the Continental Basketball Association ended the 1978-79 season with a record of 27 wins and 22 losses, finishing second in the CBA's North Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 3-5.
Ron Davis tossed in a team-leading 1,436 points for the Northern Knights and racked up 588 rebounds. Stan Pietkiewicz dished out 250 assists for the squad.
On the defensive side of the ball, Dean Tolson added 113 steals and blocked a team-best 136 shots.
George Milby and Ron Moore coached the team. The 1978-79 Anchorage Northern Knights lost in the Championship.
