Marc D'Amour topped the squad with 19 wins, and Darryl Gilmour added 15 or more wins also. Marc D'Amour recorded a 3.51 goals against average, leading regular goalies.

John Paddock coached the team. The 1988-89 Hershey Bears lost in the in 2nd Round of the playoffs.
