The Mariners led the league with 350 goals. Maine allowed 252 goals, least in the league. Wayne Schaab scored 41 goals for the squad, while John Paddock and Yves Preston netted 30 or more as well. Bernie Johnston accounted for 66 assists. Pete Peeters earned 25 wins in front of the net for the team and a team-best 2.9 goals against average, leading goaltenders with enough qualifying appearances.
