The Thunderbirds led the league with 374 goals. Carolina allowed 220 goals, least in the league. John Torchetti scored 44 goals for the squad, while Dave Watson, Ed Christian, Brian Carroll, Kim Elliot, Joe Curran, Matt Winnicki and Michel Lanouette each netted 30 or more, too. Kim Elliot contributed 67 assists. Pierre Hamel earned 28 wins in front of the net for the team, and Dan Olson added 15 or more victories as well. Dan Olson earned a 3.35 goals against average, best among goalies with significant playing time.
