The San Diego Sockers of the Major Indoor Soccer League ended the 1990-91 season with a record of 34 wins and 18 losses in the MISL's Western Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 8-3.
The Sockers led the league with just 250 goals allowed. San Diego scored 302 goals. Waad Hirmez and Paul Dougherty netted 43 goals each for the squad, while Wes Wade, Branko Segota, Rod Castro, Brian Quinn, Jim Gabarra, Ben Collins and Paul Wright each tallied fifteen or more, too. Brian Quinn contributed 55 assists. Victor Nogueira earned 31 wins in front of the net for the team and a team-best 4.37 goals against average, topping keepers with significant playing time.
