Riverside Park
Location: Asheville, NCAcross from Riverside Cemetery.
Small park with RF homers going into an artificial lake and drives into LF bounding onto the streetcar barn. Riverside Park was abandoned in 1911 due to flood waters, and completely destroyed by the Great Flood of 1916. Riverside Park also housed a pavilion; a boathouse, with daily sailing excursions on the river; a penny arcade; a stable, and a merry-go-round. Home runs, in the small ballpark, often went into the river, or an artificial lake.
