Leonard Park

Location: Belding, MI
West bank of Flat River at Elm & Water Streets.
Opened September 1, 1914. The Park was named for local businessman Henry J. Leonard, who was instrumental in its construction. Newspaper accounts indicate that home plate and the main grandstand were in the NE corner of the lot. The catcher thus probably faced SSW.
