Concho Ball Park
Location: San Angelo, TXE. Baker (1B) & Burgess (3B-LF) Streets, near Wool Street.

A 1920 map shows a grandstand flanked by a bleacher section along the 3B line. A 10-foot wood fence enclosed the park and the cotton yard. The catcher faced SW. A 1934 map shows a small grandstand behind HP, and another grandstand along the 3B line. The catcher faced SE. The KC M & O RR tracks ran past Concho Park. The military fort & ball field were established in 1867 for Indian control. The fort closed in 1889 but ballpark continued to be used as a city-owned facility.
