River Front Park
Location: Denver, COCityside bank of the Platte River between 15th & 20th Streets & the RR tracks.
Opened July 3, 1887 by John Walker who built a 50-acre amusement park as well as a ball park. The ball club abandoned the park in 1901 when owner Walker sold the club.
