The Memphis Sounds of the American Basketball Association ended the 1974-75 season with a record of 27 wins and 57 losses, finishing fourth in the ABA's Eastern Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 1-4.

The Sounds netted 8,698 points and gave up 9,149. George Carter tossed in a team-leading 1,508 points for Memphis, and Stew Johnson scored 17 or more per game, too. Tom Owens racked up 879 boards. Chuck Williams dished out 576 assists for the squad.

On the defensive side of the ball, Chuck Williams added 115 steals.

Joe Mullaney coached the team. The 1974-75 Memphis Sounds lost in the division semifinals.
