Coaching Career

Mel Daniels averaged 18.4 points, 14.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in his 639-game career with the Indiana Pacers, Memphis Sounds, Minnesota Muskies and New York Nets. He began playing during the 1967-68 season and last took the court during the 1976-77 campaign. Daniels was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012.
