Atlanta managed just 170 points, worst in the league, while the shaky defensive squad gave up 389. Bob Berry passed for 1,433 yards. Jerry Simmons paced the receiving corps, hauling in 28 passes, while Bob Long accumulated 484 receiving yards. Ray Ogden was targeted regularly as well.
Cannonball Butler ran for a team-best 365 yards for the Falcons.
Jimmy Burson picked off 4 errant tosses from the opposition.
