2000 BC Lions Results
The BC Lions of the Canadian Football League ended the 2000 season with a record of 8 wins and 10 losses for 18 points, finishing third in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 3-0.
The Lions scored 513 points, but the defense gave up 529. Damon Allen triggered the aerial attack, slinging for 4,840 yards. Robert Drummond topped the receiving corps, grabbing 66 passes, while Alfred Jackson added 1,119 receiving yards. Jimmy Cunningham provided receiving help also.
Sean Millington carried the ball for a team-leading 1,010 yards for BC, while Robert Drummond additionally contributed to the rushing attack.
Eric Carter picked off 6 opponent throws. Herman Smith dropped opposing passers 7 times.
Steve Buratto and Greg Mohns coached the team. The 2000 BC Lions won the Grey Cup.
