The Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League ended the 1987 season with a record of 11 wins and 7 losses for 22 points, finishing second in the CFL's West Division. The team compiled a postseason mark of 3-0.
Offensively, the Eskimos led the circuit with 617 points. Meanwhile, the defensive squad allowed 462 points. Matt Dunigan passed for 2,823 yards, and Damon Allen spent time under center, too. Brian Kelly snagged 68 passes for 1,626 yards. Chris Skinner and Stephen Jones contributed to the receiving game as well.
Damon Allen ran for a team-best 562 yards, while Milson Jones also buoyed the ground attack.
Don Wilson picked off 7 errant tosses from the opposition. Stewart Hill topped the defensive unit with 18 quarterback sacks.
Joe Faragalli and Jackie Parker coached the team. The 1987 Edmonton Eskimos won the Grey Cup.
