The Roughriders scored 320 points, but the shaky defensive squad allowed 462, most in the circuit. Joe Paopao triggered the aerial attack, passing for 3,420 yards. Craig Ellis led pass catchers, hauling in 102 receptions, while Ray Elgaard contributed 1,193 receiving yards.

Craig Ellis ran for a team-high 569 yards for Saskatchewan.

Fran McDermott intercepted 6 errant tosses from the opposition. Rick Mohr topped the defensive unit with 10 quarterback sacks.

Jack Gotta coached the team.
