John Hufnagel triggered the aerial attack, throwing for 3,394 yards, and Tom Clements spent time under center, too. James Murphy caught 116 balls for 1,746 yards. Perry Tuttle and Joe Poplawski provided receiving help as well.
Willard Reaves rushed for a team-high 498 yards for the Blue Bombers, and James Sykes also aided the ground game.
Roy Bennett picked off 8 opponent throws. Tyrone Jones topped the defensive unit with 10 quarterback sacks.
