Jon Arnett rushed for a team-leading 400 yards for the Bears, while Ronnie Bull also buoyed the ground attack.

Bill George, Dave Whitsell, Rosey Taylor, J.C. Caroline and Bennie McRae each picked off 2 opponent throws.
