The Colts managed just 143 points, worst in the league, and the shaky defensive squad allowed 381. Jeff George tossed for 2,910 yards. Bill Brooks topped pass catchers, grabbing 72 passes for 888 yards, while Jessie Hester contributed to the receiving game, too.

Eric Dickerson carried the ball for a team-leading 536 yards for Indianapolis.

John Baylor picked off 4 opponent throws. Jon Hand, Duane Bickett and Donnell Thompson each led the defensive unit with 5 sacks.
