John Riggins carried the ball for a team-best 553 yards.

Vernon Dean and Jeris White each snatched 3 opponent throws. Tony McGee and Dexter Manley each sacked opposing passers 6.5 times, leading the way for a team which created 32 sacks.

Joe Gibbs coached the team. The 1982 Washington Redskins won the Super Bowl.
