Larry Murphy scored 287 goals and recorded 929 assists in his 1615-game career with the Los Angeles Kings, Washington Capitals, Minnesota North Stars, Pittsburgh Penguins, Toronto Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings. He began playing during the 1980 season and last took the ice during the 2000 campaign. Murphy was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
