The Albuquerque Dukes of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1980 season with a record of 85 wins and 62 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Dukes plated 787 runs and yielded 696 runs. Claude Westmoreland paced Albuquerque with 13 home runs Kelly Snider drove in 77 runs. Jack Perconte led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .326 clip.
