The Albuquerque Dukes of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1988 season with a record of 86 wins and 56 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Dukes scored 794 runs and conceded 617 runs. Tracy Woodson led Albuquerque with 17 home runs George Hinshaw accounted for 94 RBI. George Hinshaw and Mike Devereaux paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .340 clip. Bill Krueger topped the team with 15 wins and a team-best 3.02 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
