The Gold Sox scored 782 runs and yielded 845 runs, most in the circuit. Jack Davis led Amarillo with 18 home runs, while Lee Thomas and Dick Windle walloped 15 or more also. Lee Thomas drove in 76 runs. Joe Miller paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .321 clip. Hal Stowe topped the squad with 12 wins, and John Davolio recorded a 3.36 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.

Norm Bass, Rod Kanehl, Frank Leja, Don Lock, Hal Reniff, John Romonosky, Hal Stowe, Lee Thomas and Tom Tresh were all players from the 1960 Amarillo Gold Sox who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
