The Atlantic City Surf of the Atlantic League ended the 2006 season with a record of 69 wins and 57 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The Surf plated 598 runs and allowed 561 runs. Joe Jiannetti paced Atlantic City with 21 home runs, while Raul Marval, Clyde Williams and Ozzie Timmons each walloped 15 or more also. Joe Jiannetti drove in 79 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .319 clip. Linc Mikkelsen led the team with 15 wins and a team-best 1.85 earned run average, leading regularly-used pitchers.
