The Asheville Tourists of the Tri-State League ended the 1950 season with a record of 83 wins and 62 losses, finishing second in the TSL.

The Tourists scored 690 runs and conceded 598 runs. William Kerr led batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .279 clip. Bill Mosser and Clark Samson topped Asheville with 15 wins each, while Clark Samson recorded a 1.93 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.

Chris Kitsos played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Asheville Tourists to do so.

Clay Bryant served as manager.
