The Asheville Tourists of the South Atlantic League ended the 1993 season with a record of 51 wins and 88 losses, finishing seventh in the league's North Division.

The Tourists scored 595 runs and allowed 801 runs, most in the circuit. Jermaine Swinton paced Asheville with 13 home runs Shawn Livesey drove in 60 runs. Donovan Mitchell topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .291 clip. Sean Fesh led the squad with 10 wins, while Marvin Billingsley earned a 4.15 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.
