The Erie SeaWolves of the Eastern League ended the 2004 season with a record of 80 wins and 62 losses, finishing second in the league's South Division.

The SeaWolves led the league with 734 runs, powered by 180 home runs. Erie yielded 665 runs. Kurt Airoso walloped 34 home runs for the squad, while David Espinosa, Curtis Granderson, Ryan Raburn and Juan Tejeda each swatted 15 or more, too. Kurt Airoso drove in 94 runs. Curtis Granderson topped all regular hitters by hitting .303. Wil Ledezma paced the squad with 10 wins, and Preston Larrison registered a 3.05 earned run average, tops among regular hurlers.
