The Edmonton Trappers of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1984 season with a record of 69 wins and 73 losses, finishing fourth in the league's North Division.

The Trappers paced the circuit with 828 runs. Edmonton allowed 820 runs. Chris Clark powered the team with 19 home runs, and Pat Keedy walloped 15 or more as well. Chris Clark drove in 104 runs and topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .335 clip. Rick Steirer led the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 3.72 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
