John Ducey Park, previously known as Renfrew Park, was renamed in 1984 to honor Edmonton's Mr. Baseball. Ducey kept baseball alive in Edmonton during difficult times, and was named to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. The park was built in 1933, rebuilt in 1950 after a fire, and received a major restoration in 1984.
