The Triplets led the circuit with just 537 runs allowed. Evansville scored 521 runs, worst in the league,. Cotton Nash walloped 33 home runs for the squad, while Eric Soderholm swatted 15 or more also. Cotton Nash drove in 83 runs. Jim Nettles paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .317 clip. Hal Haydel topped the squad with 12 wins, and Garland Shifflett earned a 2.23 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
