The Fort Worth Cats of the American Association ended the 2007 season with a record of 53 wins and 40 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Cats allowed 400 runs, least in the league. Fort Worth plated 486 runs. Kelley Gulledge paced the team with 12 home runs Marc Mirizzi drove in 64 runs. Terence Green led all regular batters by hitting .314. Cory Walters topped the squad with 10 wins, while Lee Gwaltney recorded a 3.17 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Max Scherzer played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Fort Worth Cats to do so.

Stan Hough served as manager.
