The Fort Myers Miracle of the Florida State League ended the 1998 season with a record of 65 wins and 73 losses, finishing seventh in the league's West Division.

The Miracle scored 704 runs and yielded 735 runs. Tommy Peterman led Fort Myers with 20 home runs and accounted for 110 RBI, while leading all regular batters by connecting at a .312 clip. Mick Fieldbinder topped the squad with 10 wins, and Corey Spiers recorded a 3.34 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.

Danny Mota, Luis Rivas, Chad Moeller, Joe Mays, Matt LeCroy, Matt Kinney, Cleatus Davidson and Micheal Nakamura were all players from the 1998 Fort Myers Miracle who played in the Majors during their careers.
