The Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League ended the 2004 season with a record of 56 wins and 38 losses, finishing second in the league's West Division.

The Grizzlies scored 525 runs and allowed 450 runs. Phil Warren paced Gateway with 23 home runs, while Greg Stevens walloped 15 or more, too. Phil Warren drove in 66 runs and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .314 clip. Scott Patterson led the squad with 11 wins, and Joe Dooley recorded a 2.76 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.

Scott Patterson played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Gateway Grizzlies to do so.

Danny Cox served as manager.
