The High Desert Mavericks of the California League ended the 2010 season with a record of 75 wins and 65 losses, third in the league's South Division.

The Mavericks led the league with 860 runs, fueled by 172 home runs. High Desert surrendered 793 runs. Johermyn Chavez walloped 32 home runs for the squad, while Denny Almonte and Rich Poythress swatted 20 or more, too. Rich Poythress accounted for 130 RBI. Kyle Seager paced all regular hitters with a .345 average. Andrew Carraway topped the squad with 11 wins, and Kenn Kasparek recorded a 4.07 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
