The Las Vegas 51s of the Pacific Coast League ended the 2005 season with a record of 57 wins and 86 losses, finishing fourth in the league's South Division of the Pacific Conference.

The 51s scored 770 runs and allowed 952 runs, most in the circuit. Cody Ross, Brian Myrow and Norihiro Nakamura led Las Vegas with 22 home runs apiece., while Henri Stanley and Chin-Feng Chen walloped 15 or more, too. Brian Myrow drove in 73 runs. Willy Aybar paced hitters with significant playing time with a .297 average. Pat Mahomes topped the team with 9 wins and a team-best 5.35 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
