The Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League ended the 2005 season with a record of 67 wins and 73 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

Carlos Hernández topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .321 clip. Lance Davis led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.76 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
