The Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League ended the 2005 season with a record of 67 wins and 73 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

The Ducks scored 665 runs and surrendered 704 runs. Henry Rodríguez paced Long Island with 27 home runs and accounted for 72 RBI. Carlos Hernández topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .321 clip. Lance Davis led the squad with 11 wins and a team-best 3.76 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
