The Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League ended the 2006 season with a record of 73 wins and 53 losses, finishing second in the league's North Division.

Mel Stocker paced batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .303 clip. Pat Ahearne topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 3.48 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
