The Lynchburg Hillcats of the Carolina League ended the 2014 season with a record of 68 wins and 71 losses, finishing second in the league's Northern Division.

The Hillcats scored 613 runs and gave up 669 runs. Will Skinner led Lynchburg with 11 home runs Kevin Ahrens drove in 65 runs and topped all regular batters by connecting at a .266 clip. Lucas Sims and Jarett Miller paced the team with 8 wins each, while Jarett Miller recorded a 4.05 ERA, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
