The Lancaster JetHawks of the California League ended the 2004 season with a record of 86 wins and 54 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The JetHawks topped the league with 856 runs, ignited by 154 home runs. Lancaster allowed 760 runs. Jarred Ball, Doc Brooks and Carlos Quentin paced the team with 15 home runs apiece. Phil Avlas drove in 68 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .315 clip. Enrique González led the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 3.23 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
