The Lancaster JetHawks of the California League ended the 2005 season with a record of 75 wins and 65 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The JetHawks plated 917 runs and gave up 849 runs. Miguel Montero paced Lancaster with 24 home runs, while Danny Richar, Chris Carter, Jay Garthwaite, Alex Frazier and Jeff Cook each walloped 15 or more, too. Jay Garthwaite accounted for 102 RBI. Jeff Cook topped batters with significant playing time by connecting at a .314 clip. Garrett Mock led the team with 14 wins and a team-best 4.19 ERA, leading regular hurlers.

Miguel Montero, Garrett Mock, Chris Carter, Kelly Stinnett, Matt Chico, Micah Owings, Russ Ortiz, Danny Richar and Stephen Drew were all players from the 2005 Lancaster JetHawks who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
