The Red Roses scored 631 runs, worst in the league, and surrendered 774 runs, most in the circuit. Jim O'Rourke led Lancaster with 17 home runs and drove in 71 runs. Clem Moore paced hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .286 clip. Arthur Mehuron topped the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 3.75 earned run average, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Tom Hughes, Mike Lee, Gary Kolb, Santiago Rosario, Jim O'Rourke, Weldon Bowlin, Tom Hilgendorf and Bill Wakefield were all players from the 1961 Lancaster Red Roses who played in the Majors during their careers.
