The Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the New York-Pennsylvania League ended the 2012 season with a record of 30 wins and 45 losses, finishing fifth in the league's Pinckney Division.

The Scrappers scored 294 runs and conceded 347 runs. Joey Wendle drove in 37 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by hitting .327, while Luis De Jesus recorded a 2.02 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Robel García, Erik González, Eric Haase, Louis Head, Ryan Merritt, Tyler Naquin, José Ramírez and Joey Wendle were all players from the 2012 Mahoning Valley Scrappers who played in the Majors during their careers.

Ted Kubiak served as manager.
