The Newark Bears of the Atlantic League ended the 2007 season with a record of 72 wins and 54 losses, finishing fourth in the league's Northern Division.

The Bears plated 726 runs and allowed 640 runs. Javier Colina paced Newark with 26 home runs, while Corey Smith, Victor Rodriguez and Keith Reed each walloped 15 or more also. Javier Colina drove in 101 runs. Victor Rodriguez topped hitters with significant playing time with a .365 average. Bobby Brownlie and Carlos Mirabal led the team with 8 wins each, and Gary Knotts recorded a 2.66 ERA, tops among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
