The Portland Beavers of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1950 season with a record of 101 wins and 99 losses, finishing fourth in the PCL.

The Beavers scored 855 runs and yielded 876 runs. Joe Brovia walloped 39 home runs for Portland, while Eddie Basinski, Mickey Rocco and Jim Gladd each added 15 or more, too. Joe Brovia drove in 114 runs. Luis Márquez led all regular batters by hitting .311. Red Lynn and Bob Drilling topped the team with 14 wins each, and Red Lynn earned a 3.54 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Red Lynn, Vince Shupe, Luis Márquez, Eddie Basinski, Bill Fleming, Frankie Austin, Johnny Rucker, Red Adams, Fenton Mole, Jack Creel, Dain Clay, John Ritchey, Joe Brovia, Steve Mesner, Lyman Linde, Jim Gladd, Mickey Rocco, Hillis Layne and Leo Thomas were all players from the 1950 Portland Beavers who played in the Major Leagues during their careers.
