The Rock Hill Chiefs of the Tri-State League ended the 1955 season with a record of 45 wins and 70 losses, finishing fourth in the TSL.

The Chiefs scored 595 runs and allowed 710 runs, most in the circuit. Bo Waddle topped batters with significant playing time by hitting .357. Pete Treece led Rock Hill with 17 wins and a team-best 3.77 ERA, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Roger McKee played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Rock Hill Chiefs to do so.

Buster Boguskie, Peter Meachini, Frank Colasinski and Pete Treece served as manager.
