The Rock Hill Chiefs of the Tri-State League ended the 1955 season with a record of 45 wins and 70 losses, fourth in the TSL.

The Chiefs scored 595 runs and allowed 710 runs, most in the circuit. Bordie Waddle led batters with significant playing time by hitting .357. William Treece topped Rock Hill with 17 wins and a team-best 3.77 earned run average, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Roger McKee played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Rock Hill Chiefs to do so.
