The Red Wings scored 670 runs and allowed 641 runs. Leon Wagner and Jim Frey led Rochester with 16 home runs apiece., while Billy Harrell, Wally Shannon and Gene Oliver each walloped 15 or more also. Billy Harrell drove in 78 runs. Jim Frey topped all regular hitters by connecting at a .317 clip. Willard Schmidt and Bobby Tiefenauer paced the squad with 11 wins each, and Cal Browning recorded a 3.5 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
