The Savannah Sand Gnats of the South Atlantic League ended the 2012 season with a record of 69 wins and 67 losses, finishing third in the league's Southern Division.

The Sand Gnats topped the league with just 526 runs allowed. Savannah scored 575 runs. Aderlin Rodríguez paced the team with 16 home runs Dustin Lawley drove in 66 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .261 clip. Marco Camarena and Michael Fulmer led the squad with 7 wins each.
