The San Antonio Missions of the Texas League ended the 2002 season with a record of 68 wins and 72 losses, finishing fourth in the league's West Division.

The Missions scored 533 runs, worst in the league, and allowed 572 runs. Andy Barkett drove in 60 runs. Jamal Strong led hitters with significant playing time with a .278 average. Rett Johnson and Allan Simpson topped the squad with 10 wins each, while Chris Mears recorded a 3.14 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
